The Tempest

By William Shakespeare

Proscenium presents one of Shakespeare's late, great plays.

The Tempest tackles issues that are as topical today as they were when it was written in 1611; nature and nurture, domination and slavery, forgiveness and reconciliation. But above all it is a wondrous story involving a shipwreck, spirits of earth and air, young lovers, wicked uncles and drunken sailors, all overseen by the powerful magician Prospero.
